Miss Lancashire Finalist, Charlotte Core, makes headlines in newspaper for campaign in mental health awareness

Newly approved member and sponsored member, Charlotte Core is making headlines in the UK for her boldness to speak about her mental health journey, along with competing for the title as MISS LANCASHIRE this Saturday in the UK.

Charlotte will be taking to the iconic Miss Manchester stage on international woman’s day, Saturday 8th March to compete for the title.... something that is not only monumental, but bold as someone that is very open about her mental health. We applaud someone for using their voice in such an impactful way.

Charlotte is quoted as saying "Forever grateful for the opportunity to talk about my journey with Bi-Polar and my campaign to get more funding for psychiatry and mental health in the UK and Lancashire. I am currently walking 56 miles this February to raise money for mind charity and their amazing work they carry out in the U.K."

We sat down with Charlotte prior to her taking the stage this weekend to get to know her better. Charlotte just landed a large sponsorship with the Fashion PR Firm, where she was approved and sponsored into the agency by designer labels, beauty brands and more. She was approved to receive a PR Package from our brands that will include beauty products from REVLON, CoverGirl, Olive Young Skincare, samples of perfume from our favorites such as Dior, Versace & more. In addition, she has already been invited to shows in Paris, LA & more.... along with casting for runway shows (to walk the runway) in cities globally. In just weeks, she has already received the opportunity to cast for over 15 runway shows.

Let's get to know Charlotte:

Were you nervous to go into a market that is already so saturated with influencers, content creators, celebrities and bloggers? What made you do it anyway?

I want to showcase that I am not a tv bipolar stereotype. I am a women with Bi-Polar who can do anything and i want to inspire other girls to show that they can do anything.

Have you won any awards?

I was recently featured in the Lancashire Telegraph for competing in Miss Lancashire and my campaign for mental health awareness.

Where are you located? Would you say that the city you reside in plays a role in your style?

I’m from Manchester so the amazing community of artists, music and designers plays a huge part in how I found my style.

How would you describe your social media presence?

My socials are always glamorous and featured around events and shoots.

Do you have a vision when it comes to your looks or do you feel like you 'wing it'? What works for you? Do you plan your content or do you go day by day?

I plan my content around events or trends I love to showcase what I’m doing in my day to day life and the amazing people I’ve been able to work with.

Will you do this the rest of your life or do you have a goal that is outside of content creation? What is your 'end game' within the influencer industry?

My end game is having my own wedding dress shop and making a space where girls can come to find their dream dress and feel beautiful.

What a beautiful person inside and out! Thank you for taking the time to sit down with us Charlotte. We can't wait to see you on Saturday compete, as well as watch your journey with the firm.
