Meet the fashion-guru, Gena Aspinall-Martin, with a Masters in International Fashion Marketing

There is many beautiful ladies in the world... but very rarely do you come across one that has as much love for history, the arts and education as our very own Gena Aspinall-Martin does. Meet the fashion-guru, Gena Aspinall-Martin, with a Masters in International Fashion Marketing and who has traveled throughout the UK & Paris to work hands on with some of the best designers in the world.

Our agency, works with some of the top fashion designers in the world. We also work with over 75 runway shows annually, along with their production teams, design teams, hair/makeup, etc. to give them the top press and media exposure in the world, but also to send our journalist, reporters and models to their show to experience the designer and what they are trying to convey to the world through their beautiful art and runway shows.

Each year, we allow influencers to join our agency only if they are approved by a brand or designer we work with. We do this to ensure that the influencer will experience real growth with our agency, but also get invitations and exposure to the fashion community through red carpet events, runway shows, grand openings, casting calls, etc.

Gena was sponsored into the Fashion PR Firm, along with approved for a membership that would allow her to receive over 50 casting calls for her to attend or walk at Fashion Weeks in various cities all over the world such as New York City, London, Milan, Paris, Miami, LA, Austin, Dallas and more. She would also receive a PR package from her sponsored brands that would include not only designer labels, but also beauty products, skincare and more. Our firm covers the media and press for hundreds of labels worldwide that include all categories such as beauty, nutrition, restaurants, hotels, airlines, designer labels and more.

Bringing on Gena Aspinall-Martin - Her work at Paris Fashion Week, along with designer Alexandra Novacki

In 2025, we came across Gena Aspinall-Martin. She instantly caught our attention as we loved her experience in the arts and fashion.... volunteering at Paris Fashion Week and working with some of the best designers in the world. Did we mention she also has a Masters Degree in International Fashion Marketing? What an accomplishment.

Gena shared with us... "Since graduating, I’ve utilized social media to source networking opportunities within the fashion Industry including working Paris Fashion week for Zac Posen.

I was working out of two beautiful apartments in Trocadéro filled with couture gowns and helping Elie Saab with admin when they needed additional grads. Zac was currently designing for the New York Ballet and his team were in Paris in a fabulous showroom with views of the Eiffel Tower. I learned so much about international Buying and during my time working with the brand and met a long-distance friend for life during my time there. His designs are so well structured, I think you can always tell when a designer loves women. Zac’s Met Gala looks never cease to amaze me. I remember commuting into work once day wearing a satin flowy midi skirt from H&M, a plain black t-shirt and a pair of Chanel sling backs and walking out of the metro whilst a older Gentleman played “La vie en Rose” on a accordion. It was very much a stereotype of Paris and like a scene from  “Emily in Paris”. The musician stopped playing to clap as I walked past and I thought, “oh my gosh is this actually real life?” and since that moment, I’ve thought, this is the life I want."

When getting to know Gena, we absolutely loved her experience in the industry, but also her commitment to make connections with the fashion community and designers on her own... using her very own social media platforms to land opportunities. What boldness and intention Gena has... and we loved that.

Gena went on and shared... "Through networking I’ve assisted and modelled at a lot of runways for different U.K. Fashion weeks and it’s so interesting to help organize a show. I am a very creative individual and love all aspects of the fashion industry. I’ve previously worked as an assistant fashion buyer and I currently work a lot of beauty events in my job as a beauty manager. In my spare time I do modelling, pageantry and influencer collabs with brands.

I recently assisted Alexandra Novacki with her A/W24 couture runway. The show was in the Walker Art Gallery in Liverpool which was just a stunning backdrop to showcase her incredible artistry. Her designs are tailored and avant-garde. She is going to be immensely successful. To see such a gorgeous show up North and not in London and to see what she had created was so inspiring."

As you may be aware, Fashion PR Firm covered the Alexandra Novacki event, which was absolutely breathtaking.

Gena supports London Fashion Weeks bold move to support sustainability within the industry....

What would you like to see changed in the fashion industry over the next few years? Not influencer related - but the actual fashion world and industry.

There needs to be more transparency in product pipelines. Better working conditions for factory workers and more education on the damage of fast-fashion. Fashion today, is the second most polluting industry after oil. 35% of the plastic in the ocean is microbeads from clothes being washed in machines. There are so many shocking statistics around garment manufacturing and the product life cycle as fast fashion clothing is no longer made to last, with 350,000 tons of clothing in the U.K. alone going to landfill each year. Clothing needs to be made of a higher quality and use less man made fibers in the future and less quantities being made to help tackle the over-production problem.

What is your favorite thing about the influencer industry?

It’s very supportive and inclusive. I’ve met so many incredible people through social media and it opens doors to networking opportunities. The influencer industry allows you to be creative and have fun.
